Bextra

If you have taken the pharmaceutical drug Bextra you may need to talk to your doctor as well as the attorneys at Hoglund & Chwialkowski, P.L.L.C.

There have been some recent studies linking the use of Bextra to heart attacks and strokes.  Further, Bextra has been linked to causing Stevens Johnson Syndrome.  This is a rare inflammatory skin disorder that can be life threatening.  If you have had a heart attack, stroke or cardiovascular problems, such as congestive heart failure, and you took Bextra, you may be eligible for monetary damages.

As you may be aware, over the last few months, there has been much media attention given to the arthritis drug Vioxx. Merck & Company, the maker of Vioxx, withdrew this popular drug from the market as of September 30, 2004, after it was linked to a variety of heart conditions.  Vioxx, a COX-2 inhibitor, is from the same class of drugs as Bextra.

Therefore, if you have been taking Bextra recently, it is important to file your claim as quickly as possible in order to secure compensation before the situation changes.  Our attorneys will work to help individuals throughout Minnesota secure compensation for their injuries.

Contact Hoglund &Chwialkowski, P.L.L.C. if you have experienced any of the above conditions and were taking the prescription drug Bextra.
